El Barril Mexican Bar & Grill in New Richmond, Ohio

We have been coming here often and the place is lovely. A wonderful addition to new Richmond. The staff are always so nice and friendly to our family. The manager is always extremely nice to my little baby and he always brings him a little bowl of his favorite beans when he sees us come in. Such a nice family place and a great addition to the village. We love coming here.

We stopped here while just passing through and it was amazing! Best Mexican restaurant we have been to; family of 5 and we all thought so. Their menu is expansive which normally means frozen but not here. Our waiter immediately brought us chips and salsa when he came to get our drink order. At first bite, we knew this place used fresh ingredients and homemade goodness kept coming. The decor kept us talking and commenting on each custom detail. Stools made from barrels and comfortable upholstery with beautiful stitching. We noticed details like the murals painted on the furniture. Our meals did not disappoint! And our server was one of the most attentive and friendly we have in quite awhile.

Found this place by accident looking for another restaurant and so happy we stumbled upon it. Watermelon margarita was so good! My husband isn’t a fan of mexican food but loved theirs as it had so much flavor! 10/10 will make the drive right past the restaurants near me to visit this one.
